1st October 2025 – 3rd October 2025: The Sustainability Division successfully organized a 3-day training programme (Interpretation & Implementation Training) in collaboration with NIOSH Certification Sdn Bhd. The training was conducted by Mr Lawrence Caesar Chau, gaining active participation from staffs across the estates, mills and refinery of Sawit Kinabalu Group.

The training commenced with opening remarks by Mr Sufri Hajar, General Manager of the Talent Development Unit, followed by Mr Nazlan Mohamad, Chief Sustainability Officer, who emphasized the importance of MSPO 2.0 in strengthening sustainability practices and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Both speakers underscored the value of continuous learning, safety and teamwork in achieving operation excellence.

The first day of the programme focused on knowledge-sharing sessions, providing participants with a comprehensive understanding of the updated MSPO 2.0 requirements. The second and third day featured interactive workshops, group discussions and case studies, allowing the participants to engage, discuss and apply theoretical knowledge to practical scenarios while engaging actively with colleagues from different operations.

The training concluded with positive feedback from participants, who acknowledged the value of the programme in deepening their understanding and enhancing cross-functional collaboration.
