On 22nd May 2024, Sg Pin estate welcomed a group of 15 students led by Prof Gretchen from the National University of Singapore (NUS). The main objectives of the visit were to learn from the best management practices on oil palm plantation operations and the conservation work that Sawit Kinabalu is doing at Sg Pin.

During the visit, the students were also given a chance to try their skills and a hands on practical to harvest the fresh fruit bunch (FFB) from the palm trees.

Thank you, National University of Singapore, for the visit and we hoped the students gained something valuable from the trip on our oil palm operations and the conservation efforts that we’re doing.
