Until 2021

  • Implementation of the Sabah EU-REDD+ Project under the Sabah Forestry Department. SPnCA was one of the Project Site.
  • MoU with SFD in 2017 to co-manage the Sg Pin Conservation Area (SPnCA)
  • The collaboration aims to establish an effective conservation management plan for Sungai Pin Conservation Area that will help enhance its carbon stocks through REDD+ initiatives.
  • Monitoring if the Outstanding Conservation Values (OCVs) of SPnCA;
  • Assist in the development of the Sg Pin Conservation Area-Conservation Area Management Plan (SPnCA CAMP)
  • Advisor on the suitable tree species for forest/habitat enhancement in SPnCA
  • Provide tree seedling supply for SPnCA tree planting activities
  • Forest restoration activities involving local communities
  • 22 August 2003: The MoU with WWF-Malaysia was signed with the objective to reforest and reconnect the fragmented forest 500m along the South Bank go the Kinabatangan River.
  • 2004-2022: strategic partner in conservation-related activities.
  • 2002: Restoration to reconnect the Silabukan Forest Reserve and Tabin Wildlife Reserve at Bagahak Wildlife Corridor at Bagahak 1 Estate.
  • Restoration and habitat enhancement for wildlife I.e. Orang Utan.
  • Advises on the suitable tree species for forest restoration work in SPnCA and outside
  • Support seedling supply for forest restoration mainly for ficus tree species

Until 2022

  • Restoration and habitat enhancement for wildlife I.e. Orang Utan
  • Advises on the OU management, conservation and monitoring in SPnCA & other Conservation Areas.
  • Assist in the establishment of the two (2) Orang Utan Bridge.
  • Provide tree seedling supply for SPnCA tree planting activities.
  • Continuation from PONGO Alliance. The scope of work is the same.
  • A Dutch-based foundation that partners with businesses and other organisations to co-develop projects that will lead to sustainable production and sourcing. 
  • Provide funding to support our conservation initiatives such as tree planting.
  • Restoration and habitat enhancement activities in SPnCA involving local communities.
  • Provide tree seedling supply for SPnCA tree planting activities.
