KUCHING, SARAWAK: The BorneoCraft Global (BCG) Expo & Conference 2024 was a captivating celebration of creativity, culture, and craftsmanship, held from 27th of November to 1st of December 2024 at the stunning Kuching Waterfront in Sarawak. Under the theme “Globalising Local,” the event highlighted the incredible talents of local artisans, offering them a rare platform to showcase their works to the world.

One of the most notable highlights of the event was the visit of Duli Yang Maha Mulia (DYMM) Tengku Permaisuri Selangor, Tengku Permaisuri Hajah Norashikin to the Sawit Kinabalu Group booth. Her Royal Highness took the time to explore the exquisite displays of Kinabatangan, Sabah craftsmanship that we presents.

The BCG 2024 was a vibrant fusion of tradition and innovation, where artisans, craft enthusiasts, and visitors came together to explore the rich cultural heritage of Borneo. It was a week filled with inspiration, where local craftsmanship met global exposure, creating opportunities for artisans to grow and thrive.

As this year’s event concludes, it leaves us eagerly anticipating what’s to come.
