Satu sesi pembentangan cadangan penyelidikan projek tahun akhir bagi pelajar fakulti perhutanan tropika telah diadakan pada 21hb Ogos 2024 di Fakulti Perhutanan Tropika, UMS. Sesi tersebut telah dihadiri oleh Pengurus dan Eksekutif Konservasi CBU. Lapan (8) pembentangan telah dilakukan yang merangkumi pelbagai topik kajian untuk menyokong pembangunan eko-pelancongan di Kawasan Konservasi Sg Pin. Pembentangan tersebut adalah salah satu daripada kriteria yang terdapat di dalam Perjanjian Penyelidikan (Research Agreement) diantara CBU dan FPT. Sesi kemudian disusuli dengan perbincangan berkenaan Memorandum Persefahaman (MoU) yang dijadualkan akan ditandatangani pada akhir tahun ini.
