A heartfelt thank you to Saraya Co. Ltd. for visiting our estate and conservation area in Sg. Pin on August 19th, 2024. The group, led by Mr. Nabuo Nakanishi, included twenty participants, among them Saraya’s Director, Mr. Daishima. The primary objectives of the visit were to gain insight into Sawit Kinabalu’s oil palm industry from the plantation to the mill and to explore our conservation initiatives.
During the visit, the group had the unique opportunity to engage in a hands-on activity, harvesting fresh fruit bunches (FFB) from the palm trees. Additionally, a presentation on mill operations was given by En. Firman, Assistant Engineer of Sepagaya Mill, at the SPnCA office.
We extend our sincere thanks to Saraya Co. Ltd. Japan for their enthusiastic participation in this educational tour. We hope the experience provided valuable insights into Sawit Kinabalu’s sustainable oil palm practices. Arigato Gozaimasu!
