On 6 May 2024, the Conservation & Biodiversity Unit (CBU) in collaboration with the Forest Research Centre (FRC) team of Sabah Forestry Department re-installed the fallen artificial hornbill nest on a Nauclea Orientalis tree at Sg. Pin River. Before the installation, the team conducted a rapid site recce along the riparian area at Sg Pin to find the best and suitable tree.
Thank you FRC Team! And we hope that the installed nest will be occupied soon by the hornbills.
