On 2nd February 2024, 16 members from the Sawit Kinabalu Conservation Biodiversity Unit (CBU) led Mr Charis Saliun visited the Danau Girang Field Centre to establish a research collaboration.
The team were given demonstrations of the current projects running at the centre (cat and pangolin tracking, camera trapping, and Regrow Borneo soil sampling) as well as introductions to the Professional Training Year (PTY) projects and the history of Danau Girang.
